Small furniture rides alongside your boxes for £45 per item: desk chairs, bedside tables, lamps, mirrors, a boxed TV. The test is one person, one lift: if one of us can carry it safely, it ships.

Blankets and stretch wrap do more than bubble wrap. Tape drawers shut, take legs off where they unscrew (tape the screws to the underside), and box glass or mirrors between cardboard sheets.
